GSA

Genders & Sexualities Alliances, or GSAs for short, are student-run organizations that unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities. GSAs have evolved beyond their traditional role to serve as safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in middle schools and high schools, and have emerged as vehicles for deep social change related to racial, gender, and educational justice.

National Honors Society
|
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character. The National Honor Society requires some sort of service to the community, school, or other organizations. The time spent working on these projects contributes towards the monthly service hour requirement.

Everyday Pirate

The crew reports the daily news/ announcements. Works to provide audio visual services to Paseo Academy. The club is composed of a select group of students who have demonstrated what it takes to be a successful visual media support person. Podcast, youtube, morning announcements, student social media, and an ACT Word of the Day.

Robotics Club

A gathering of students who are interested in learning about and working with robots.

Art Club
|
A place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and community.

Math Honors Society

Club members are dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school. Tutors middle school students.

Social Justice Club

The Social Justice Club intends to work with high school students to discuss current issues happening at the local, state, national and worldwide level. It's an opportunity to learn about the work we do with our community as well as develop leadership skills through fun and educational activities.
